Kein Land für Niemand: documentary on Europe's borders.
About
"Kein Land für Niemand – Abschottung eines Einwanderungslandes" is a documentary about Europe's external borders, civic engagement and the stories of refugees. Made by Max Ahrens and Maik Lüdemann, the film asks about the causes of the German migration debate and traces a shift away from protecting refugees towards isolation and deterrence, including a resolution to limit immigration. Guests are members of the Berlin regional group of Medical Solidarity International / Medical Volunteers International, which provides medical humanitarian aid at the EU's external borders. Everyone interested, especially people with a migration background, is invited to a shared cinema evening and discussions.
