About

An evening of conversation about food, heritage and identity at Chapters. London food writer Jenny Lau, founder of the platform Celestial Peach, presents her book "An A-Z of Chinese Food (Recipes Not Included)" – a set of essays on Chinese diasporic food and a mixed identity pulled between East and West. She will be joined on stage by Vicky Truong, a Berlin-based food cultural practitioner who creates spaces for collective healing and empowerment through community events. The evening brings together East Asian community movements from London and Berlin, beginning at the kitchen table and opening out into community, heritage and the ways food holds cultures together.
