About
A public tour through the Alte Nationalgalerie in its anniversary year. On all three floors, works of the 20th and 21st centuries, including by Gursky, Miró and Warhol, are brought together with the art of the 19th century, inviting associative viewing. Opened in 1876 as a house for contemporary art, the Nationalgalerie is today the home museum of the Nationalgalerie and the museum for the art of the long 19th century. The tour leads through three centuries of art; places are limited and online booking is recommended.
