Dieter Hacker reads from his still unpublished novel manuscript „Budenzauber. Von einem der auszog, Künstler zu werden“ in the exhibition „Windstille Nacht“ at ZAK – Zentrum für Aktuelle Kunst. The novel traces, in a mixture of biography and fiction, the life of the prototypical artist Anton, from his first steps in art through successes and failures, poverty and wealth, to his end, vanishing into the ether of being forgotten. Hacker, born in 1942 in Augsburg, is a painter and professor of painting at the UdK Berlin who reads for his former students Ewa Finn and Katharina Poos. Admission is free.
