About
An evening reading for adults with Anna Schapiro as part of the series »Jüdisches Leben heute«. The author and artist reads from her novel: after her legendary grandmother Sweety's funeral, Anna travels with a recording device to New York, Boston, Arad and Haifa to seek her family's untold stories. The collected conversations about farewell, emigration and arriving form a moving saga of Soviet-Jewish life in the 20th century. Registration is requested.
