Nûroj Mûnzûr: Kurdish poetry in Kurmancî.

At this reading, the Kurdish poet Nûroj Mûnzûr presents poems from her latest collection "Sîya Berêvarên Gewr". Born in Batman in 1988 and living in Hamburg since 2019, Mûnzûr is an important literary voice of the Kurdish diaspora and has published four volumes of poetry so far. In her poetry she embarks on a poetic journey in which she observes, listens, loves, accuses and criticizes. The event takes place in Kurdish (Kurmancî), is moderated by Hemza Altun and is a cooperation between the Stadtbibliothek Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg and the Koma Xwendinê ya Berlînê; admission is free and advance registration is possible.
