LT KINO: Lithuanian short films by women directors.

„LT KINO 2026: FEMALE SHORTS“ is a programme of eight Lithuanian short films directed by women, shown in the original version with English subtitles. The films come from directors including Kristina Savickaitė, Severina Vaičiūnaitė, Simona Jurkuvėnaitė and Rytis Dringelis, Margarita Balkuvienė, Ieva Šakalytė, Unė Kvietkauskaitė, Justė Kavaliūnaitė and Ida Giedraitė. They tell, among other things, of four friends exploring hidden corners of Vilnius' Old Town, of a prom night with a secret, of four exhausted women at a spa and of a couple dealing with a diabetes diagnosis. There is also an animation about a spirit between myths and cultures, a drama about a violinist in her mother's shadow, a comedy about a conversation between one's younger and older self, and a drama about youth finding their own path.
