About
The Evangelical congregation Hellersdorf celebrates St. Martin's Day with a lantern procession and a St. Martin's market. Together with the Regenbogenkita daycare centre, the Haus Aufwind and the Rosenhainschule, it remembers Saint Martin, who lived around 1600 years ago. The afternoon begins with a St. Martin's play at the Regenbogenkita, followed by a lantern procession with a stop at the Haus Aufwind. It ends with a St. Martin's market with a bazaar, campfire and hot drinks in the congregation's garden, whose proceeds go to the “Arche” warming room for homeless people.
