About
The medicine bag workshop is a hands-on event for children and families about crafting, plants and the forest. Modelled on the indigenous peoples of North America, participants make a medicine bag and then head into the woods to search for small treasures from the plant, animal and mineral kingdoms. Filled with these finds, the bag is then to unfold its magic and support their abilities. The workshop is led by Dagmar Schwarzlose and run by the Naturschutzzentrum Ökowerk Berlin e. V. together with the Volkshochschule Neukölln; registration with the Ökowerk is required.
