Michael Feindler liest aus „Osmans Garten”
Buchhandlung am Schäfersee, Markstraße 6, 13409 Berlin, Reinickendorf
About
An author reading with Michael Feindler presenting his children's book „Osmans Garten”. The rhyming picture book tells the true story of Osman Kalin, an Anatolian guest worker who created a vegetable garden in the 1980s on wasteland in Kreuzberg right next to the Berlin Wall. Known as the „Baumhaus an der Mauer”, the garden gained nationwide fame as a symbol of gentle resistance. The book brings a piece of Berlin's past closer to children and is a timeless, friendly plea for more humanity and mutual tolerance.
