About

The “Erzählsalon Migration: Wir haben keine Wahl, aber eine Stimme!” is an informal storytelling event at the Berlin Museum: Ephraim-Palais. It is the second instalment of a new quarterly series by the Stadtmuseum Berlin, in which actors from migrant and diasporic communities share their stories of migration and resistance. This edition is about migrant struggles and international solidarities from the 1970s to the 1990s, when Berlin (West) was shaped by resistance and fights for a more just world. Contemporary witnesses such as political scientist and urban researcher Max Welch Guerra tell these stories with photos, documents and music; moderation is by Aurora Rodonò, curator for migration history, and visitors are welcome to bring their own mementos.
