About

In the Puttensaal of the Bibliothek am Luisenbad, a mobile planetarium dome is set up, taking visitors beneath its nine-metre-wide round shape. The project „INTENSE“ is run by the Stiftung Planetarium Berlin, whose portable dome travels to day-care centres and schools across the capital. Its aim is to spark and encourage children's and young people's interest in STEM subjects. A high-resolution projector displays the content without distortion on the curved space, and a whole school class or day-care group fits underneath.
