About
“Besuch im Sternenhaus” is a roughly 45-minute live tour for children aged 5 and up (kindergarten, grades 1–3) at an observatory. The group explores what an observatory is and how a telescope works, looks at one of the longest telescopes in the world and a large meteorite. At the end, the children get to know the planetarium, simple telescopes and constellations, and can ask all their questions. The observatory is the oldest and largest public observatory in Germany and houses the world's longest movable refracting telescope.
