In conversation with Gloria Freiler, curatorial trainee at the museum, Antonio Peña, head of museography at the MACCO in Oaxaca and currently an IFA fellow there, offers insights into Oaxaca's museum and cultural landscape. The Afro-indigenous artist and cultural manager speaks about his experience in cultural work and his artistic practice dealing with identity, representation and belonging. Together with the audience, the discussion covers collections, exhibitions, mediation and the role museums play in engaging with cultural diversity and history.
