„Nun müssen Worte wie Blumen entstehen“ is a word-music collage on Friedrich Hölderlin and Ludwig van Beethoven. Corinna Harfouch (recitation) and Hideyo Harada (piano) explore the artistic parallels between the two artists born in the same year: the often unsettling power of their works, their enthusiasm for the French Revolution and their private isolation. Hölderlin's poems, hymns and elegies, excerpts from his novel Hyperion and philosophical reflections on Greek antiquity meet musical works by the Viennese classicist. The programme lasts 1 hour 30 minutes without an interval.
