About
The public tour „Natur und deutsche Geschichte” is a guided walk through all exhibition rooms of the German Historical Museum in the Pei Building. It is offered by the German Historical Museum and examines the concept of nature through selected objects from 800 years of German history, from the world egg and the wolf to pictorial depictions of destroyed landscapes of the 20th century. The tour addresses the changing relations between societies and their ideas of nature and their influence on belief, life and politics, as well as events and developments that altered or shaped that concept.
