About
A public guided tour through the museum-history section of the German Historical Museum's exhibition. It offers insight into how collecting and exhibition practice changed over the course of German history under different forms of state. The walk starts with the armour of the imperial hall of fame and continues via the last field uniform worn by Kaiser Wilhelm II. in the NS army museum to the Soviet 'Flag of Kriwoi Rog' in the GDR's Museum for German History. At the end stands a bunk bed from a refugee reception centre, which entered the collection in 2016 through Walter Lübcke.
