Open Lab Abend: Materialwende mit Lignin
Futurium, Alexanderufer 2, 10117, Mitte
kostenfrei
About
A workshop at the Futurium Lab where participants can discover and test innovative materials made from lignin. The evening is run by the interdisciplinary research project LignoLight, a cooperation between Futurium and the weißensee kunsthochschule Berlin art school. After an introduction to lignin, an underrated industrial by-product of wood processing, the developed biopolymers can be turned into participants' own products using a 3D printer or needle and thread, which they may take home. Participants are guided directly by the developers themselves, including Esther Kaya Stögerer and Jannis Kempkens from weißensee kunsthochschule berlin.
