About
Pinocchio is a musical family show at Theater an der Parkaue, presented as a world premiere. Philipp Löhle has retold the tale after Carlo Collodi, and Alexander Riemenschneider directs it. The old carpenter Geppetto longs for a child and carves a puppet that suddenly comes to life. Pinocchio sets off for school and follows a thousand detours all the way to the wide sea, while Geppetto realises he must set out himself to understand him – overwhelmed parents meet overwhelmed children.
