About
"Predicaments" is a Shibari workshop at Daruma in Berlin-Neukölln, intended for people who already have experience with partial suspensions. It is taught by Mie Neko, a German rope switch and instructor, together with Schlavendel, who has been active as a rope bottom for several years. The focus is on predicaments, situations in which the tied person can choose between several body positions, each bringing its own challenges or forms of strain. The goal is not necessarily pain but a playful balance between different options and their consequences, with model and rigger working more against each other than with each other.
