Turning Point: rope workshop with Mie Neko and Schlavendel.

Turning Point - Surprising Transitions is a workshop exploring sudden, visually striking transitions from one shape to another. It is led by Mie Neko, a rope switch from Germany, and Schlavendel, who has been active as a rope bottom for several years and regularly teaches with her. Together, participants will look at the turning points that make these movements feel smooth and intentional, how to identify positions that naturally enable dynamic changes, and how to create dramatic visual impact while maintaining safety and body awareness from a rope model perspective. The workshop is intended for people who already have considerable experience with full suspensions and transitions, with requirements for riggers and models such as a loadable upper-body harness, smooth suspension line handling, and the ability to distinguish between circulation issues and nerve compression.
