The film „Share no Hōsoku“ (A Matter of Sharing) is a heartwarming story about people of different ages, professions and nationalities living together in a sharehouse in Tokyo. Based on a play of the same name, it tells how Hideo, the withdrawn husband of the sick caretaker Kiyoko, gradually changes through life with the residents and learns understanding and compassion for others.
