Sleep No More: Edwin's horror film on factory overwork.

Wolf Kino presents "Sleep No More" as the opening of a joint series with the Berlinale World Cinema Fund, which since 2004 has supported filmmaking from Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific. The story follows sisters Putri and Ida as they try to uncover their mother's death in a factory where the owner exploits workers through extreme overtime. While Putri suspects suicide, Ida believes a dark, possessive spirit is at work – and their younger brother Bona, who heals unusually fast, becomes endangered by it. Director Edwin, a Golden Leopard winner in Locarno, takes on horror through the lens of overwork while delivering plenty of fun.
