Sonderführung: Waldfriedhof Oberschöneweide

A two-hour special guided walk across the Waldfriedhof Oberschöneweide cemetery held for the German day of mourning, showing that this place reflects local, industrial, German and world history. Alongside great names such as Rathenau and Deul, the graves tell stories of well-known and lesser-known figures, of fates and life paths in an industrial town. Visitors can trace Oberschöneweide's eventful history, learn more about the founders of the industrial area, and explore why cemeteries are not only places of rest but also of nature conservation. The tour is limited to a set number of participants and requires advance registration; it starts directly at the cemetery's main entrance.
