About
The Charité Sunday Lecture is a public lecture series in which Charité experts speak on medical topics. In this edition, chronobiologist Prof. Achim Kramer and intensive care physician Prof. Alawi Lütz explain how the inner clock controls sleep, metabolism, blood pressure and the immune system. They discuss how a daily life that runs against one's own rhythm can throw health off track, and how circadian medicine includes the time factor in diagnostics and therapy. These approaches can also be used preventively in everyday life – for more well-being and better health.
