"Starkstromzeit. Vom Leben in einem Staat, den es nicht mehr gibt" is a book presentation with a reading and discussion. In it, author Aron Boks goes in search of clues: he wants to know what became of the light fixtures his grandparents manufactured in their small firm as self-employed people in the GDR. He belongs to a young generation of writers who approach hidden or ignored memories and stories from the GDR and East Germany in their work. The event is moderated by Wiebke Hollersen and hosted by the Bundesarchiv – Stasi-Unterlagen-Archiv together with the Robert-Havemann-Gesellschaft e.V.
