A book launch at Literaturhaus Berlin where Sophie Calle presents her new book »Erinnerungen an Ostberlin«. In it, the French artist documents places in Berlin from which the visible symbols of East German history were removed after reunification, asking passers-by and residents to describe what had once filled these now-empty spaces. In conversation with the author and filmmaker Felix von Boehm, she talks about remembering, her art and writing. The event is held in French with simultaneous German interpretation by Kerstin Elsner; Carolin Haupt reads.
