Stefanovich & Lečić: two pianos plus free improvisation.

A concert evening at the Pierre Boulez Saal brings together music for two pianos and free improvisation. Pianist Tamara Stefanovich joins Nenad Lečić in works including Claude Debussy's Jeux and the Monologe, written in 1964, in which Bernd Alois Zimmermann quotes from Debussy's piece. In the second half, Stefanovich improvises with the trio DLW, made up of Christopher Dell, Christian Lillinger and Jonas Westergaard. Classical modernism and contemporary music thus meet playful creativity, where the new and unexpected arises in the moment.
