The Centrality of the Epistemic Domain in Social Work: Why Now?

Alice Salomon Hochschule, Alice-Salomon-Platz 5, 12627 Berlin, Hellersdorf

About

A talk in English on epistemic justice and injustice in contemporary social work. Eunjung Lee, a professor at the University of Toronto, argues that questions of knowledge, voice, credibility and recognition are central to understanding power, exclusion and social change, with implications for social work education, research and practice. The event is part of the international series „Marginalisierte Wissensweisen im Dialog“, organised by Prof. Dr. Jasna Russo and run through the Sage SAGE! project at the Alice Salomon Hochschule. It takes place in room 225 and is also accessible online via a conference link.
