About

"Border Justice: Bodies as Evidence" is a lecture series taking place at Uferstudios in Berlin. It is run by Hanaa Hakiki and Arkadi Zaides. At its center is the question of how the human body is perceived in law – not all bodies are granted the same status or the same capacity to act before the law. Drawing on a range of practices and perspectives from art, the humanities, law and activism, the series examines how embodied knowledge can reveal ambiguities and gaps in legal structures and support the development of alternative models of justice.
