About
A community Saturday at Kulturfabrik Moabit combining a queer shadow theatre piece, a film screening and an open session. The programme features UNDINI Uncut, in which three performers reimagine the little mermaid fairy tale through circus, dance, drag and live music, the Oscar-nominated documentary essay Soundtrack to a Coup d'Etat by Johan Grimonprez on jazz, the Cold War and colonial power, and Kiez-Session #5 with students of the Jazz Institut Berlin, open for anyone musical to join. The film tells of African independence struggles in the 1960s and the murder of Patrice Lumumba. The theatre piece is aimed at children aged four and up and their families.
