A guided accompaniment through the permanent exhibition "Tränenpalast. Ort der deutschen Teilung" in the former departure hall at the Friedrichstraße border crossing. The exhibition by the Foundation House of History of the Federal Republic of Germany uses biographical examples and original objects to show how the division of Germany affected people's lives. During the accompaniment, visitors discover the key themes and historical traces, from escape and emigration from the GDR to the experiences of travellers at the border checks. Registration takes place at the information desk in the exhibition before the tour begins.
