The travelling exhibition “600 Akkordeons. Eure Geschichten. Unser Berlin – Teil 5” shows the accordion collection of Berliner Dieter Plinke, linked with memories from many countries, generations and Berlin neighbourhoods. The project is run by the Landesmusikrat Berlin, which wants to make the unique collection visible and accessible to all Berliners in the “Year of the Accordion”. In cooperation with the Handelsverband Berlin-Brandenburg e.V., the EAST SIDE MALL provides rooms on visitor level 2 as the fifth stop, focusing on historical instruments. The free exhibition is accompanied by workshops, guided tours and concerts for children, young people, families and adults.
