A citywide touring exhibition of some 600 accordions stops at EAST SIDE MALL. It is the project „600 Akkordeons. Eure Geschichten. Unser Berlin.“ of Landesmusikrat Berlin e.V., staged during the „Jahr des Akkordeons“ with the Handelsverband Berlin-Brandenburg e.V. (HBB) and six Berlin shopping centres that provide rooms of their own. On show are the lifetime collection of Berlin accordion lover Dieter Plinke and the memories tied to the instruments from many different countries, generations and Berlin neighbourhoods, made visible and accessible to everyone. Alongside the finest pieces of the collection there are concerts, readings and offers for children, teenagers and families.
