Harvesting water: clay workshop on rainwater harvesting.

A hands-on workshop where participants experiment with clay and shape a small object of their own. The starting point is a rainwater-harvesting ceramic by designer Dimitra Almpani-Lekka, whose ceramic forms explore how rainwater can be collected and channelled in urban environments. The event takes place in the WerkRaum of the Pablo Neruda district central library as part of the „Wissen zwischen Büchern“ series during Berlin Science Week. Behind the series is the cluster of excellence „Matters of Activity“ at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, which brings researchers into Berlin's public libraries.
