About
Windenergie im Museumspark is a permanent exhibition in the museum park of the Deutsches Technikmuseum. It is presented by the Deutsches Technikmuseum and explores how people have harnessed wind energy for around 800 years. On site stand a post windmill, a smock mill and a historical American wind pump from 1900, while a 44-metre rotor blade from a Vestas V90 wind turbine is displayed on the museum forecourt. Demonstrations explain mill technology and how millers lived and worked.
