WIR SIND AM LEBEN: a musical about wild 1990s Berlin.

WIR SIND AM LEBEN is a grand Berlin musical about the wild Berlin of the 1990s. It comes from Peter Plate & Ulf Leo Sommer, who are returning after celebrated successes such as Ku’damm 56, Ku’damm 59, Romeo & Julia – Liebe ist alles and Die Amme; the music of Rosenstolz has become cult. Set in 1990 after the fall of the Wall, it follows Nina, Mario and their mother Rosi, who in the chaos of the post-reunification years find a wild community full of humour, heart and joie de vivre in the old building „Konsum Hoffnung“. Told at a fast pace about freedom, friendship and new beginnings, the show is celebrated every evening with standing ovations and has already drawn more than 100,000 spectators.
