About
„Salon Rosie – Das Musical“ tells the story behind the Berlin musical „Wir sind am Leben“: hairdresser Rosi Fröhlich faces losing her beloved salon when her twin sister Gabi, once a celebrated GDR schlager star, unexpectedly shows up. The piece was written and directed by Franziska Kuropka and Lukas Nimscheck, with music and lyrics by Peter Plate, Ulf Leo Sommer and Joshua Lange. It stars Berlin's biggest musical star Steffi Irmen, alongside Kathi Damerow. An intense, touching and surprisingly entertaining evening between humour, quarrels and big emotions.
