About
At Zig Zag, a jazz concert titled "ZIG ZAG HALL: Kurt Elling & The Yellowjackets celebrate Weather Report" celebrates the work of the legendary fusion band Weather Report. Behind the project are two-time Grammy winner Kurt Elling, one of today's leading jazz vocalists, and the Yellowjackets, an American fusion band active for more than four decades and holders of two Grammys. Rather than a faithful reconstruction, the musicians take the largely instrumental classics in a new direction through Elling's original lyrics and their own fusion history. Two generations of fusion history thus share the club's stage for the first time.
