About

An evening of Billie Holiday's music, interpreted by actress and vocalist Anna Sroka-Hryń, with the songs sung in Polish translations by Wiesława Sujkowska. She is joined by pianist Stanisław Pańta and double bassist Paweł Pańta. Sroka-Hryń previously performed this repertoire in the production 'Billie Holiday at Emerson's Bar & Grill'. The translations preserve the emotional power of the songs while opening space for stories of love, loneliness, freedom, longing and fragility.
