About
A jazz concert celebrating the centenary of the legendary vocalist Tony Bennett, in what would have been his hundredth year. The Way Out West Collective pays homage to his musical legacy with songs closely associated with him, including 'Stranger in Paradise', 'You Must Believe in Spring', 'Who Can I Turn To?' and 'I Left My Heart in San Francisco'. Way Out West is a multi-generational collective of musician/composer/bandleaders from West London spanning bebop, swing, fusion and free improvisation. The line-up features Nette Robinson on voice and saxophones, Tony Woods and Pete Hurt on saxes, Meredith White on piano, Larry Bartley on bass and Gary Willcox on drums.
