An art therapy session at Torriano Meeting House that invites participants to explore the Self through their own art making, using guided meditations, paints, clay, poetry, story and movement to work somatically and spiritually on difficult thoughts, behaviours and feelings. It is led by Vera Howard, a transpersonal arts counsellor with punk rock credentials who works holistically and person-centred, weaving personal meaning-making, Jungian symbolism and archetypal themes with trauma informed awareness and lived experience. No artistic experience is needed for this process led approach, and both individual and group sessions are available.
