Astronomy LEGO brick club is a drop-in LEGO and DUPLO building workshop at the National Maritime Museum, themed around the night sky. It is run by the museum's Astronomy team, who invite children under 12 and their families to explore the history of astronomy through builds inspired by star stories, constellations, rockets and lunar bases. Prompts draw on themes of space, time and navigation from the Royal Observatory Greenwich, and families can build together or compete. During the October half-term the session takes place from 1.30pm in the Learning Space, with spooky space builds on offer.
