Blue Note (La Note bleue) is a French film about a summer day in 1846 that George Sand spends at her Nohant estate with her close circle of writers and artists, including her daughter Solange, her lover Frédéric Chopin, singer Pauline Viardot and painter Eugène Delacroix. It was directed by Andrzej Żuławski, one of four films he made with Sophie Marceau over fifteen years, and she stars in it alongside Marie-France Pisier, Janusz Olejniczak, Bénédicte Loyen and Féodor Atkine.
