About
This is a piano recital of works by Mozart, Chopin, Liszt, Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov. It is performed by Alexander Gavrylyuk, a Ukrainian-born Australian pianist rooted in the Russian keyboard school, whose playing The Times called 'emotionally gripping, structurally thoughtful, and deeply musical'. The programme ranges from Mozart's Sonata in C K330 to Rachmaninov's Second Piano Sonata, lasting about two hours with an interval.
