Clipped Wings is an art exhibition of paintings by Sandra Chevrier at StolenSpace Gallery. Her works explore the tension between freedom and restraint, vulnerability and survival, desire and the forces that keep us grounded. Fragmented bodies, intimate embraces, wounded faces and birds caught between flight and captivity inhabit a space where tenderness and violence coexist. Comic-book figures are woven into fragile human moments, questioning the roles they were originally given.
