About
A practice-based workshop with sections of movement and discussion, part of the Disabled Artists Programme at Sadler's Wells. It is led by Annie Edwards, a London-based dance artist from Brighton whose career spans touring with Candoco Dance Company, Boy Blue ent, ZooNation and Thick and Tight as well as independent research and facilitation. Her approach to movement is rooted in disabled embodiment, drawing on contemporary dance, House and floorwork, with a focus on improvisation and live scores. The open session is for artists who identify as disabled, offering a consistent space to develop their practice and experience a broad range of choreographic experiences.
