About
An evening of live New Orleans jazz, blues and funk piano at a bar in East London. It stars Dom Pipkin, hailed as the UK's leading exponent of the New Orleans sound for over two decades and described by Blues in Britain as one of the world's greatest exponents of New Orleans piano. Drawing on influences such as Professor Longhair and James Booker, he blends driving blues rhythms with rhapsodic classical flourishes, mixing original songs with Big Easy classics. His session career spans artists like Paul Weller, Paloma Faith and David Byrne, and fans range from Jonathan Ross to Jamie Cullum.
