Edward Said: Between Worlds, a documentary on the scholar.

Edward Said: Between Worlds is a documentary film about the Palestinian-American scholar, intellectual, musician and activist Edward Said, followed by a Q&A with director Maiken Baird. Made with full access to the Said family and estate, it draws on unseen family archives, home movies, recordings, interviews, lectures and rare television appearances. Spanning seven decades from his childhood in Jerusalem through exile and his final years in New York, it traces his political awakening, personal struggles and lifelong search for home and belonging. Through his own voice and rare archives, it asks who has the right to tell their own story.
