Two rare documentaries on John Berger, Mike Dibb in person.

A very rare screening of two documentaries about the writer John Berger, followed by a conversation between filmmaker Mike Dibb and writer and producer Gareth Evans. "Once Upon a Time" (52 mins) is a meditation on our experience of time, filmed in and around Berger's house in France, with time-centred stories read by Berger himself. "A Telling Eye" (60 mins) is a survey television overview of Berger's work across all media, featuring interviews with Berger, collaborators and commentators. The evening is part of the John Berger at 100 film and event series, marking the centenary of the author of more than 60 books.
